St. Philip's is one of six host sites around the diocese of Ohio to hold
a forum on the state of racism in America: 50 years after the Civil Rights
Movement. Join us on Saturday, November 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Free and open to the public!
Episcopal Church hosts major topical forum
Save the date - Friday, November 15, 2013 for this historical event! Fifty Years Later. The State of Racism in America. This will originate from St. Andrew's Episcopal Cathedral in Jackson, MS. A 90-minute webcast will be moderated by well-known journalist and PBS commentator Ray Suarez. Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefforts Schori will keynote the event. Two panel discussions will focus on main themes: Racism in America today--why does it persist? And Racism in America's future - where is there hope for change? The ecumenical forum will be live webcast beginning at 1 pm Central (2 pm Eastern, noon Mountain, 11 am Pacific, 10 a.m Alaska, 9 am Hawaii).

We're training youth ages 9 and over to service as acolytes. If you would like to assist the clergy during worship service, please contact the parish. This is a rewarding service provided by our youth.
